I cannot believe I forgot one of the most important reasons that I had for learning as much about the theatre world as I could. Being in this place where it is not necessary because of this school and this theatre program, I forgot about the need there is in other areas of the United States for young men and women with strong personal convictions to have a place where they can act without worrying about being discriminated against for being religious, for being straight-edge... straight... non-smoking, non-drug-taking, non-cursing actors.
I forgot about that. I forgot about Ellen.
